SubRosa: The Gypsie Courtyard –
-Over 400 shows in 12 venues in 2 states in 3 years
-Variety showcases of music, visual art, comedy, poetry, films, circus act, drag
-Themed shows with fashion shows, promotions and parties from Pinups and Hotrods to Zombies to Circus to…
-Hundreds of artists showcased, many got their first paid gigs, first newspaper articles, etc
Space Pirate Derby Disco – An interactive event that encouraged small business visits via a treasure map during Derby weeks, group outings in costume to Thunder over Louisville and other festivities, a performance at Ear-x-tacy, and culminated in a concert with musical performances and games with space pirates Derby Eve.
Lost City of Abstractus
– An immersive pop up where a space was transformed into an archeology dig site.
-A live actor portrayed Dr. Eti Visiony, a fringe archaeologist who believed he found the Lost City he’s been searching for his whole life. The character made visits to public events, did news appearances, had social media pages and a website people engaged with as he invited them to tour the dig site
-He unfolded the story online and in person as he “found soem strange devices with data on them.”
-People toured the trenches of the dig site and viewed the data found on the devices (performance art with spoken word by a technologically clad consciousness.)
Derby Week Invitation Only Arts Pop-up –
-A beautiful upscale church turned venue was held as a secret location for a juried arts and tech pop up featuring music, performance art, photography, video games, technology based art and more.
-Burnt parchment paper invitations were mailed out and invitees voted for their favorite works after viewing them in person or with mobile devices via QR codes on glowing towers made from recycled bottles.
-This red carpet event featured buffet dinner, musicians, video games, digital interactive art and more.
Louisville Muse Cruise – 2 years
– Client asked for an event on Belle of Louisville for their bands to play at, so we created the Derby week red carpet networking event and musical showcase aboard the Belle of Louisville.
– Hundreds of the film, music, and entertainment industry walked the red carpet and then boarded and networked on a 3 hour cruise with catered dinner as bands played.
Vaude in the Ville
A live vaudeville style theater show featuring Divinity Rose and John Cowgell, enhanced by interactive technology fun with a Twitter wall, projection mapping and audience engagement.
Mayor’s Summerworks Start-up
– A program serving youth ages 16-21 where they were part of teams who conceived and ran startup businesses for a summer while learning about community, civics, and how various parts of a community work together alongside speakers and field trips to see how newstations and businesses of all shapes and sizes operate.
Mandee McKelvey’s CLAM special
-A special red carpet gala style event for the taping of Mandee McKelvey’s first comedy special at the Biscuit Lounge in Louisville, Ky.
