Jessica Lynn Mathis (AKA Divinity Rose) is a multi-award and grant winning comedy performer plus author and screenwriter who blends these talents with her directing and producing for stage, screen and multi-media art.

She has a love for humor, the supernatural and the mysterious. She uses her experiences with 10 different childhood families and childhood trauma plus varied life experiences as a journalist and stand up comedian/character actress to weave tales that explore themes of identity, mental health, the supernatural, spirituality, psychology, survival, redemption, humor, and technology.

Her experience in the entertainment industry ranges from writing, producing and performing in over 400 live events as well as acting for screen with notables like Lisa Lampanelli, Nora Dunn, and Al Snow to producing her own writing for live shows, commercial projects and web series. Her writing experience also includes a background in journalism and acting as Editor-in-Chief of publications while additional film experience includes freelance crew on various projects like American Idol, Relative Justice, Dead Files and Investigation Discovery for individual clients and networks like ESPN, Discovery, and ABC.
